Reiko Nakano is more than a performing violinist, she is also a creative musician who is expanding the role of the violin in music. In her study at Berklee College of Music she successfully proved her exceptional soloist talent in many areas of music performance and production. She has transferred a range of music from other cultures and instruments, and has demonstrated great talent in choosing her source and creating new work for the violin.
She has worked with numerous artists including John Williams, Elton John, Michael Brecker, Lee Ritenour, Dave Grusin, Charlie Haden, Kenny Barron, Dianna Reeves, Steven Tyler, P. Diddy, Kelly Klarkson, Gary Burton, Donna McElroy, Richard Evans, Ariana Grande, among others.
Andrea Whitt is an exceptionally versatile violist, arranger and composer. While studying classical music in college, her passion for jazz and improvisation began while performing in a Brazilian jazz ensemble and studying intensely under top jazz pedagogues. Andrea received her Bachelor and Master of Music degrees in viola performance at the University of Cincinnati College-Conservatory of Music. Currently, Andrea is a member of Shania Twain's band, performing on viola and fiddle. When Andrea is not on tour, she performs regularly with rock bands in Los Angeles, works as a studio musician, and instructs students in classical and other creative string genres.
Andrea has performed with other artists including Stevie Wonder, Deep Purple, Hunter Hayes, Far East Movement, Harry Connick Jr., Cee-Lo Green, One Republic, John Legend, Kelly Rowland, and Natalie Cole. She has appeared on the Ellen Degeneres Show, Jimmy Kimmel Live, ACM Awards, Billboard Music Awards, Latin Grammys, The Late, Late Show with Craig Ferguson, and a featured role as a violist on national commercials.
Leah Metzler holds her B.M. in cello performance from the Oberlin Conservatory of Music where she studied with cellist Darrett Adkins. She received her M.M. in cello performance from the San Francisco Conservatory of Music where she studied with former member of the Kronos Quartet, Jennifer Culp.
Currently based in Los Angeles, Leah is an active recording artist and performer of chamber, orchestral, contemporary, and early music. An experienced orchestral musician, Leah has been the principal cellist of multiple orchestras including the YMF Debut Orchestra, Golden State Pops Orchestra, Oberlin Chamber Orchestra, San Francisco Conservatory Orchestra, and Aspen Concert Orchestra. She had the pleasure of traveling with the Oberlin Orchestra to New York to perform at Carnegie Hall and to Los Angeles to perform at the Walt Disney Concert Hall.
In 2014 Leah went on a world tour of 10 different countries (US, Mexico, Russia, Germany, France, United Kingdom, China, Thailand, Taiwan, and Japan) with the Japanese super star Yoshiki.
Cellist Alisha Bauer is an active performer and recording artist in both classical and popular music settings. After graduating from the University of Denver with a Bachelor of Music degree and a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration degree, Ms. Bauer continued her music studies under a full scholarship at UCLA where she received her Master of Music degree in Cello Performance.
As the cellist and co-founder of the Alcantara Ensemble, she was a semifinalist and finalist in the Fischoff and Coleman International Chamber Music Competitions respectively. Ms. Bauer has been a guest artist for chamber music series programs presented by Chapman University, Azusa Pacific University, Dana Point Coastal Arts, Torrance Cultural Arts, The Previews of Manhattan Beach, South Bay Chamber Music Society and at the Banff Summer Residency Series where she was featured in a live CBC radio performance broadcast.
Since moving to Los Angeles, Ms. Bauer has built a career as a solo and collaborative cellist in the recording industries. Along with performing on soundtracks for television and film, she is also a regular solo recording artist for organizations that specialize in producing music for advertising media. Recent discography contributions include work with the Beach Boys, Stevie Nicks, Christina Aguilera, Lady Gaga and Madonna.
Brittany Cotto is a graduate of Indiana University School of Music working as a freelance violinist and violist in the greater Los Angeles area. She performance regularly with artists such as: Andy Grammer, Burt Bacharach, Frank Ocean, John Williams, LeAnn Rhimes, Quincy Jones, P Diddy, Paul Anka, Scott Weiland, Snoop Dogg, Tony Bennett, Yo-Yo Ma and Yoshiki. TV appearances include American idol, BET Music Awards, Glee, MTV Unplugged, The Tonight Show with Jay Leno.
Leah Zeger's musical success story has been anything but conventional. Her eclectic range and professional experience has literally included every musical style imaginable.
Leah won a scholarship to attend the University of Texas at Austin where she majored in both opera and violin. At 19 years old, while still in college, Zeger won a tenured position in the first violin section of the Austin Symphony Orchestra, becoming the youngest member on staff.
In the past year, Leah became a member of the Hollywood Bowl Orchestra; recorded and produced her second album, Pour Moi; performed with Miley Cyrus on her live unplugged show; produced and starred in her first major music video, "The Man I Love;" toured with five-time Grammy-winner Cee Lo Green as the electric violinist/dancer/back-up singer; played with Madonna; was the concert master/soloist of the 10-piece string ensemble for Annie Lennox’s latest music video; performed in Zedd’s recent music video, and performed at Arianna Grande’s CD release show. Leah recently became a Yamaha Artist.
Irina Chirkova
Born in Bulgaria, Irina Chirkova holds a master’s degree from the Boston Conservatory. Recent performances include: American Music Awards (2014); Latin Grammys (2014); 'A Very Grammy Christmas' show (2014); The Beatles Grammy Salute Concert (2014) with Katy Perry and Annie Lennox; 65th Primetime Emmy Awards (2013), live solo performer “In Memory” segment; 55th Grammy Awards (2013) with Carrie Underwood. She has performed with Celine Dion, Gloria Estefan, Natalie Cole, Nelly Furtado, John Legend, Clint Holmes, Adam Levine, Iggy Azalea, Nicki Minaj, Lana Del Rey, Marco Antonio Solis, P. Diddy, Kanye West (on David Letterman’s The Late Show) and for Bill Clinton’s political conferences. As a classical cellist, Irina has performed for Yo-Yo Ma and has shared the stage with world-famous pianist Lang Lang.
Recorded for artists such as: Steven Tyler, the band Godsmack, Robin Thicke, Celine Dion, the main cello theme of the video game Dragon Age (Inquisition), TV show The Revolution as well as many other private projects.

She started playing the cello at age four. She uprooted herself after attending the University of South Carolina after studying with cellist Robert Jesselson and jazz instructor Bert Ligon to hone her craft in Los Angeles.
She has played on the Tonight show, with Shaggy, Faith Evans, Frankie J, Clay Aiken, Josh Groban, and Michael Buble. She has also been on the American Music Awards with Josh Groban, American Idol with Reuben Studdard, BET Awards with The Game, and recorded several music videos for the artists Josh Groban, Kanye West, Rod Stewart. She filmed the Micheal Buble live DVD concert at the Wiltern theater.
As a professional violinist, violist, and composer, Chrysanthe Tan has toured, recorded and collaborated internationally with artists like Paul Anka, Bastille, Alicia Keys, Ariana Grande, Common, Jennifer Hudson, ZZ Ward, Marco Antonio Solís, Nicki Minaj, Skylar Grey, BT, and Dumbfoundead. Her original compositions have been featured in numerous films and projects, and she recently completed a debut album of cinematic chamber music called Stories. Television credits include NBC's 1600 Penn and FOX's Glee, for which she was a regular band member in season 4. Chrysanthe’s specialties as a performer include contemporary classical repertoire, studio and live improvisation, and cross-métier collaborations with choreographers and other artists.
Simone Vitucci has always had music in her life and began studying cello as a child in South Africa, playing solo with the Cape Town Symphony Orchestra by the age of 15. She earned scholarships to several universities in the United States before ending up at Yale with the legendary cellist Aldo Parisot. She is now based in Los Angeles with her family, and became a US citizen in 2012. Simone’s improvisatory chamber music work won her a National Endowment for the Arts grant. Her music has allowed her to tour throughout the world, and to play a diverse range of musical styles ranging from classical to jazz. She has also played cello for pop stars such as Burt Bacharach and Rod Stewart, recorded soundtracks for Hollywood movies and video games, and appeared in commercials, TV and radio shows.
Alicia Spillias has trained classically on the violin for over 24 years and has also branched off into other genres of music including folk and rock/pop. She spent 6 years at a middle/high school for the performing arts and went on to play in the Gainesville Symphony Orchestra in Florida. She has played in string ensembles for over 15 years, playing for weddings and other types of live events. She also plays with a variety of orchestras including: Dream Orchestra, Dana Point Symphony, the African American Chamber Orchestra, Asia Entertainment Orchestra, Young Musicians Orchestra, Orchestra Unleashed, and others, and does session work for film and television.

Arianna Powell is a professional guitarist based in Loa Angeles, CA. She has received a Bachelor of Jazz Guitar degree from Duquesne University in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. She has played hundreds shows, independant projects, private events, tribute shows, and local and international acts as a versatile guitarist with experience in jazz, rock, folk, pop and more. She is also a songwriter whose music has been featured on radio, blogs, and live songwriting shows. Born and raised in Pennsylvania, Arianna began her career on the east coast and now resides in Los Angeles, California where she continues to perform regularly with a variety of acts.
